Waldbad Lungötz – free admission with the Tennengau + Card and the Salzburg Card The idyllic natural bathing establishment is popular with holidaymakers and locals alike. With a water surface of 2,000 m², water slide and children's pool a funny and varied bathing day is guaranteed for small and large water enthusiast. There is also plenty of room to relax and unwind.

Winter
Skiing in the Dachstein West ski region
In winter, from Annaberg you can reach directly the center of the Dachstein-West ski region. The state-of-the-art ski lifts with 142 km of perfectly groomed pistes offer both skiers and beginners unlimited fun on the slopes.
Free bus to the ski area
For active winter sports fans, the entire public bus service is available free of charge with your guest card during the winter season.
Ski fun in the home region of Marcel Hirscher
The family-friendly Annaberg- Lungötz ski area on the Salzburger side of the Dachstein West ski region is the hometown of the slalom and multiple overall world cup champion, as well as the winner of the Olympic silver medal and double world champion, Marcel Hirscher.

The Donnerkogelbahn
The ski region Dachstein West will inspire you:
A lot of new fun slopes, delicacies served by the cordial hosts of the rustic huts, an astonishing mountain panorama and 142 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes.
The new Donnerkogelbahn in Annaberg [ gallery image] brings the skiers comfortably to the Riedlkopf. The valley station of the Donnerkogelbahn is right next to the parking lot Annaberg Astauwinkel.

Snowshoeing or Touring
Try a dreamy winter hike off the slopes through the untouched snowfields of the Tennengau or on one of the numerous hiking trails through the deep snowy landscapes. Enjoy the untouched nature in the Lammertal valley and recover your strength. Nothing is more beautiful than to enjoy the unspoilt nature and to turn the slopes into the snow.
Cross-country skiing
Our tip for cross-country skiers:
Particularly recommendable is the Neubachtal-Loipe in Lungötz. This complex with changing facilities has been awarded the Tennengauer quality seal and has 10 km of cross-country ski runs for skating as well as over 10 km of classic trail. Please ask for the cross-country ski ticket of € 2,50 in the tourist office, at your host, in the Gasthof Wieseralm or at Sport Profi Schwarzenbacher directly at the cross-country ski run before using.
A part of the Neubachtal cross-country ski run is also open during the season after dusk: until 9:00 pm you can use the cross-country ski trail at 2.4 km at floodligth. [ gallery image]Entrance close to Gasthof Wieseralm.
Cross-country skiing for beginners:
You would like to learn cross-country skiing? This is easy and uncomplicated in the Lammertal: All tourists with a valid guest card from Abtenau, Annaberg-Lungötz and St. Martin have the opportunity to participate in a free cross-country skiing course.
In Lungötz, cross-country skiing is also possible in the dark.
Places of Excursions
A trip to Salzburg is always worth it.
If you want to see more of the beautiful Austria, we recommend excursions in the closer and further surroundings.
